For my dear friend Alex's bachelorette celebration in Las Vegas, the girls and I were asked to bust out our little black dresses... needless to say I didn't have one, and it was a great excuse to go buy one!

 

Summertime doesn't give me much options for all black dresses... but I did end up finding this strapless from New York and Company.

 

 

It's an eyelet strapless with POCKETS! Big time score with the pockets!

 

But I must be too fat for it... the zipper broke on me several times and so after our dinner I was walking back to the room with a broken zipper - back showing, bra strap showing, and I held the dress up so my undies didn't show *sigh*

 

I know what you're thinking... return it! But unfortunately there was a tag that was not to be taken off, otherwise I could have. But the tag was torn off as soon as I got in it.

Shoe {Love}: Toms Part Deuce

Ok. I know Toms shoes/apparel/accessories have been out for a while.

And yes. I know I just bought my first pair at the end of January.

And yes. My second pair came to me at the beginning of March.

I'm happy to say, after all this time, I finally understand what Toms is all about. It's turned into real love.

I'm not so happy to say that my wallet is gonna hate this.

*sigh*

I've been looking on the website, and on Nordstrom's too, and there are so many to choose from it makes it hard to shop, either for myself or someone else. Just lately I was out buying Alex's birthday gift, and if you knew her, you'd know she's got it bad for Toms.

Shoe {Love}: New Toms

Inspired by this picture: I was in search of Toms for my feet!

So it took me a long time to get a pair of Toms, but I'm very glad I did.

Not only are they comfortable and slip ons, but the company donation of shoes to children in need makes you feel just all warm and fuzzy inside!

Well so I got a plain gray pair to start off with... just want to make sure my feet will be happy in them first!

So needless to say, I'm sure I'll be seeing a couple more pairs of Toms in the closet... in the near future!

Oh! And I bought and also waiting for that lacey ivory pair, which is on back order till March! *eep!*

I had the opportunity to meet a lovely lady out of Laguna Hills last Sunday... who just so happens to mention that she has a BLOG!

Dreams By The Sea Etsy Shop

I saw this etsy shop because of the adorable starfish barrettes & hair clips! There's Starfish barrettes, starfish bobby pins, starfish headbands. Bracelets, earrings, necklaces, and rings.

When I was little, my favorite childhood movie was The Little Mermaid. It was my first movie I saw in the theaters, and it was instant love! My Auntie Debbie even had a custom made Little Mermaid book published for me, with me as Aerial! And oh would I make my parents suffer through my singing of "Part of Your World"!!

So I decided that when (or more like IF) I get married, I would have a beach wedding or a cruise wedding like Aerial did in her happy ending. And I always wanted a hair accessory to of course match my "Sea theme" wedding. And these barrettes would go beautifully with a white dress!

I also love the delicate jewelry they have too!

Okay, so I have till Halloween (Oct 31st) to look like THAT! No joke kids!

I bought this little outfit for my first complete-skank Halloween outfit! I got it from 3 wishes, but Leg Avenue's design. It's a 4-piece set that comes with white crop top, suspender shorts with embroidered clover applique and pocket chain, belt, and stockings. I even got the hair accessories for it too!

So we need to hit the gym more, and work on the abs & legs. More planks, squats, and cardio!


I have to eat better too. I can't commit to a "diet", but I sure can at least eat a Lean Cuisine meal, rather than the taco tuesday specials for lunch!

But support would be awesome right now... and future support as well! I have a less than 4 months for this, and I want to make it happen! Hell my name is Shannon! I have to be an Irish Cutie!!!

As a birthday gift from my grandmother, we went out to South Coast LV and bought the beautiful Tivoli GM! That store is wonderful, and the people there are delightful!

I loved everybit of that experience and I love my Gma for giving it to me!
